As usual, we kick things off with a quick rundown of the weather on the East and West Coast. Don talks about celebrating his birthday with Eye of the Beerholder co-host John "Hambone" McGuire and watching NXT Takeover: Dallas. We get into some Japanese wrestling chat after we gush about Shinsuke Nakamura. We move into seeing the legends perform at Wrestlemaina and Ken speaks about the infamous unscripted Scott Steiner promo. Don claims the Nakamura/Zayn match at NXT Takeover is the match of the year. Ken talks about his DJ set at the Art and Soul NJ art show curated by Rich Lopez. We transition into What Are You Playing and hear about Mad Max, Happy Wheels, PAC-MAN 256, Bunker Punks, Destiny, Hyper Light Drifter and Miitomo. Ken kicks in with his new segment What Are You Vaping and talks about his flavors of the week, Milkman and Looper and gets into DIY juice making. We talk about Geek Flea XI and then get into Do You Care.

Unlistenable Episode 66 - 3 Score 6

This week on the show the guys cram a lot in as they were delayed a week due to a snow storm. Ken kicks off the show with his time at Toy Fair 2016. He chatted with Uncle Andy's Toys, had a great tour with Bif Bang Pow, played a fun strategy game called Fourple and got to see the Coleco Chameleon in person. Don and Ken went to see WWE's minor league, NXT, in Asbury Park, Gus talks about his hikes in a place where people go to die and Chuck went to see himself on the big screen in the premier of William Hellfire's Upsidedown Cross. We find out that Don is playing Broomball, Ken is playing Mad Max, Chuck has been playing Destiny and Firewatch and Gus is playing Witness and Destiny. Then we play Do You Care.

Unlistenable Episode 65 - Why Do You Keep Hiding My Stuff?

With the first show of the new year we kick it off with the sad news of all the celebrity deaths. Swiftly moving into the Unwinnable Music playlist challenge and find out what everyone has been hearing. We find out the Don downloaded Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV for the PC. Ken traded in a bunch of games to pick up some the heavy hitters of 2015 including Fallout 4, Mad Max, Witcher III and Destiny: The Taken King. Chuck is played The Beginners Guide. As usual Gus is playing Destiny, as well as Pokemon Mobile and Darkest Dungeon. Ken talks about the Mad Max game and then invents his own game mode, Road Warrior Mode. We get into some Oscar talk and then move into, "Do You Care?"

On this very special episode Shawn starts the show by leveling up DOOM to a 9th level sorcerer and then we wish Ian a happy birthday. We are joined by our hosts Stu Horvath and Shawn Dillon and our panelists George Collazo, John “Hambone” McGuire, Ed Coleman and Ian Gonzales. Hambone kicks this episode off with the introduction of the official Eye of the Beerholder breathalyzer. After a round of breathe tests they talk about sex in the world of Dungeons and Dragons and Dragon magazine. Then they get into their do’s and dont’s of playing D&D. We talk a bit about Gen Con and then float off into a variety of topics. After the break, Stu talks about the module White Plume Mountain. DOOM ends the show before things really get out of hand

Unlistenable Episode 64 - Ferris Wheel’s Day Off

Eye of the Beerholder Episode 6 - There’s Something in the Fog

December 3rd, 2015

DOOM has to go to the Mages Guild, so the boys decide on recording episode 6 after two consecutive games of Dungeons & Dragons. Stu, Shawn George and Hambone realize that their current game has been going on for 11 years and are currently in Sigil. They begin with some talk about the astral plane and sleep paralysis and then move into their adventure in Sigil. We get a history lesson about their time in summer school and then they move into the second part with added panelist, Ed Coleman. DOOM serenades Shawn Dillon and then they move into their game where they find a chest with tarot cards, wishes and beans. Then they end on a fun note!
